About The OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Leader to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistently high quality of care is provided to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete initial assessments and care planning, and ongoing management and evaluation of resident's individual care needs within scope of practice.
- Implement nursing care plans as assessed for each resident by healthcare team and resident/representative.
- Liaise with visiting medical officers and other health professionals and residents/relatives in planning, implementation and evaluation of resident's care needs.
- Deliver holistic concept of care using resident's care plan, utilising 'Person Centred Care' approach.
- Supervise, manage and monitor standard of care delivered to residents, ensuring care is individualised and person-centred according to resident's individualised care needs.
- Assess and plan residents' care needs on an ongoing basis and update documentation as per protocol.
- Previous experience as Registered Nurse, in aged care desirable.
- Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration.
- Registered Nurse experience.
- Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate etc).
- NDIS Worker Screen (or willingness to obtain).
- 2025 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season).
- Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff.
- Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth.
