About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Leader to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistently high quality of care is provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete initial assessments and care planning, and ongoing management and evaluation of resident's individual care needs within scope of practice.
  • Implement nursing care plans as assessed for each resident by healthcare team and resident/representative.
  • Liaise with visiting medical officers and other health professionals and residents/relatives in planning, implementation and evaluation of resident's care needs.
  • Deliver holistic concept of care using resident's care plan, utilising 'Person Centred Care' approach.
  • Supervise, manage and monitor standard of care delivered to residents, ensuring care is individualised and person-centred according to resident's individualised care needs.
  • Assess and plan residents' care needs on an ongoing basis and update documentation as per protocol.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as Registered Nurse, in aged care desirable.
  • Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration.
  • Registered Nurse experience.
  • Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate etc).
  • NDIS Worker Screen (or willingness to obtain).
  • 2025 Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain during flu season).
  • Evidence of Covid-19 vaccination.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff.
  • Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth.
