Caregiver Role for Elderly Patients

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional outcomes.

About the Job:

  • You will provide direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
  • As a Team leader, you will provide coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team, promoting a positive work environment.
  • You will work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, closely following all policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide kind and empathetic care to elderly patients, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, including medication administration and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification is essential for this role.
  • You must be currently registered with AHPRA and have a thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of AN-ACC assessment processes and strong clinical skills are also required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
