Our Elderly Support Team

  • We are seeking an individual to assist our residents with their daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, oral care and mobilizing.
  • The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the resident and other members of the healthcare team to develop a personalized care plan.
  • Assisting in planning and implementing leisure activities on a daily basis is also a key aspect of this role.
  • Light housekeeping duties will be performed as required.
  • Delegated nursing acts will be performed according to company policy and scope of practice.
  • Effective communication and reporting of any concerns regarding resident care or safety is essential.


Your Qualifications

  • A valid Continuing Care Certification or Provincial Personal Care Worker course is required.
  • Registration in Nova Scotia's CCA registry is mandatory.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and shifts, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening is necessary.
  • Previous experience working with elderly in long-term care or senior living environment is an asset.
  • Valid CPR & First Aid Certification is preferred.
  • A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care.
