We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in a Business Development Support role. This is a full-time position that will cover tendering and sales support activities.
Tendering and Estimating Responsibilities:- Prepare tenders for review by the management team
- Manage incoming requests for quotations
- Utilise market knowledge to maximise win rates
- Provide quoting support to supervisors for smaller projects
- Assist with estimating as needed
- Support the establishment and maintenance of the CRM system
- Develop strong relationships with customers
- Collate information for customer presentations
- Perform digital marketing tasks such as social media interaction
- A strong customer focus and ability to meet or exceed customer expectations
- Dedication to teamwork and collaboration
- Effective communication, including keeping management informed of industry trends
- Development of enduring internal team and customer relationships
- Maintenance of a safe working environment
- A relevant tertiary qualification, such as a Bachelor of Construction, Engineering, or Marketing
- Experience in sales or digital marketing would be advantageous
- Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn, and adaptability
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively with stakeholders
- Advanced computing skills, including Microsoft programs
- High work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive approach and genuine enjoyment working in a fast-paced environment
- Current driver's license
- Tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent
- Previous experience in marketing or sales activities
- Police clearance (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
- Construction Industry White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
