Proposal Development Specialist

The role of a Proposal Development Specialist involves supporting the creation of high-quality proposals to enhance submission quality, strengthen processes, and build capability to contribute to strategic pursuits over time.

This position requires developing compelling project sheets, tailored bid content, and other proposal elements to improve client engagement and positioning across target sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage, and produce high-quality submissions for clients nationwide.
  • Improve proposal processes to increase efficiency and win rates.
  • Understand client needs and develop strategies to tailor proposals accordingly.
  • Enhance proposal quality to continuously improve the relevance and quality of bid content.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the development of business tools.
  • Guide strategic decisions to focus efforts on opportunities aligned with the company's vision and strengths.
Requirements:
  • Experience in bids/proposals within professional services, building/construction, or similar industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate pursuits and independently manage submissions.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with government and private sector procurement processes.
