As a senior bid manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading high-performing teams to deliver winning and profitable bids. Your primary focus will be on managing larger bid teams to craft exceptional proposals that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply project management principles and expertise to bid management.
  • Manage all stages of the bid process, including initiation, planning, solution definition, content development, response consolidation, team reviews, quality control, and bid award.
  • Lead bid resources to develop deal strategies, solution architectures, commercial models, and delivery/service management plans.
  • Ensure risk exposure is understood, documented, and addressed/migitated.
  • Maintain auditable trails of bid artefacts and records.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and ensure communications are received and understood.
  • Review customer requirements to ensure they are met in the proposal and collaborate with various parties.

Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in bid management in a technology-driven organisation.
  • Strong experience with managing, coordinating, and implementing the bid process successfully.
  • Advanced demonstrated experience researching and collaborating with subject matter experts to write and edit compelling proposals.
  • Business acumen, excellent attention to detail, and high-quality work.
  • Ability to utilise key systems and tools related to bids and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge about the industry, including competitors and market trends.
