Opportunities exist for a motivated individual to join our team in a Supported Temporary Accommodation role.

This position involves providing support to clients who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, with the aim of rapid rehousing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive case coordination and assist clients in meeting the requirements of their Temporary Accommodation support plan.
  • Undertake initial registrations and advocate to internal and external services to support clients transitioning.
  • Create and update individualized case management files and undertake a range of case management duties.
  • Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and work respectfully to provide culturally appropriate support.
  • Complete a range of other administrative duties and participate in relevant meetings and forums.

Requirements for Success

  • A relevant qualification in Community Services, Social Work, or related field is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong Case management experience.
  • A driver's licence.
  • Trauma-informed knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with high-level communication skills.
