The General Practitioner will be responsible for providing patient-centred care, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions, and referring patients to specialists as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of health conditions using evidence-based practice.

  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer to specialists as needed.
  • Commit to delivering culturally safe care and understanding the healthcare needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent.
