About the Role
As a primary healthcare specialist, you will provide high-quality patient-centred care to our community, focusing on prevention, early intervention and continuity of care.
The role involves diagnosing and managing a broad range of health conditions, referring patients to specialists as needed, and contributing to overall patient wellbeing through culturally sensitive and holistic care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions using evidence-based practice
- Provide patient-centred care with a focus on prevention, early intervention and continuity
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and refer to specialists as needed
- Understand and respect cultural values and traditions of our community

Selection Criteria:
- Current registration with relevant professional body
- Relevant experience working in general practice settings
- Strong commitment to delivering culturally safe and respectful care
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Medical Practitioner
- Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent
