Claims Resolution Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Claims Consultant at Auto & General, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional claims service to our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to investigate, evaluate, and negotiate assigned cases to ensure that our customers receive the best possible outcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Claims Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into claims to determine the extent of damage or loss.
- Policy Coverage: Review policy coverage to ensure that customers receive the benefits they are entitled to.
- Negotiation and Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, agents, and other stakeholders to resolve claims in a fair and timely manner.
- Conflict Resolution: Manage conflicts and disputes in a professional and respectful manner.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on policy guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Self-Motivation: Work independently with minimal supervision to achieve results.
Requirements:
- Insurance Experience: No prior insurance experience is required, but previous experience in debt collection, paralegal, or insurance claims will be highly regarded.
- Skills: Sharp eye for detail, well-grounded negotiation and communication skills, ability to deal effectively with conflict, effective time management capabilities, confidence in decision making, and self-motivation.
