About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Claims Consultant to join our team at Auto & General. As a Claims Consultant, you will play a critical role in providing a personalized and seamless customer experience for at-fault third-party (TP) customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Education and Negotiation: Educate and negotiate with TP customers to provide appropriate solutions for their circumstances, ensuring a positive outcome for all parties involved.
  • Recovery Opportunities: Proactively contact TP customers to obtain critical information, ensuring that all recovery opportunities are maximized and the best possible outcome is achieved.
  • Effective Communication: Utilize strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage conflicts and ensure a smooth claims process.
  • Time Management and Organization: Demonstrate effective time management capabilities, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Decision Making and Autonomy: Make informed decisions with confidence, working independently and taking ownership of claims resolutions.
Requirements
  • Sharp Eye for Detail: Possess a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the claims process.
  • Strong Negotiation and Communication Skills: Develop and maintain strong relationships with TP customers, utilizing effective negotiation and communication skills to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Self-Motivation and Autonomy: Demonstrate self-motivation and autonomy, working independently to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
