Job Title:

Project Data Services Manager

Job Description:

Lead and oversee a team responsible for the processing, delivery, and maintenance of contractual asset data with defence clients. Ensure the maintenance and integrity of defence data in accordance with defence standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure defence data maintenance and integrity.
  • Lead defence contract operations personnel in reviewing, validating, and uploading asset data in accordance with defence standards.
  • Foster continual improvement of processes within internal systems (GEMS & ServiceNow) to improve user access and information.
  • Manage and monitor data security risks within Service Stream and Defence, analysing data integrity and developing continuity plans in compliance with ISO 27001.
  • Manage requests for asset data changes from internal and external sources on behalf of Defence, including creation and updates.
  • Provide training for staff and stakeholders in the use of Defence systems to access and update relevant estate information.
Requirements:
  • Experience in data management and processing, ideally within the Defence sector.
  • Experience in managing data security risks and compliance with ISO 27001 standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering continual improvement processes and leading teams in validating, uploading and reviewing asset data.
  • Familiarity with Defence standards and data systems, including ERIM, GDL, GEMS, and NSIMS.
