Data Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Manager to oversee the GEMS Data Load across multiple bases on a state-wide contract.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing data provisioning for Contract Change Proposals (CCPs) and maintenance planning. Additionally, they will provide guidance on loading, storing, and ensuring accuracy of all asset-related data, ensuring integrity and consistency across all operational platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting regular audits to verify data accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive maintenance planning data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all asset-related data.
  • Providing data provisioning support for CCPs.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to meet all data management requirements within the contract.
  • Offering guidance on best practices for data storage and loading, as well as training and supporting staff in data management processes and systems.
  • Updating and maintaining documentation related to data management protocols and procedures.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in data management, preferably within a defence or large multi-site asset management environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong understanding of data provisioning for CCPs.
  • Proven experience with GEMS or similar Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
  • A tertiary qualification in Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in a related field is highly desirable.

You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
