Business Development Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the charge in managing distributor and customer relationships, providing technical and market extension support, and driving strategic growth initiatives to boost sales across the QLD region.

Our client is a renowned manufacturer specializing in cutting-edge fluid power and power transmission solutions. They push the boundaries of materials science to develop products that consistently exceed industry expectations.

The Role
  • You will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic visit plan for the region, strengthening and expanding relationships with distributors and customers, and forecasting market potential.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Main Responsibilities
  • Developing and executing a regional business development strategy to drive sales growth.
  • Strengthening and expanding relationships with distributors and customers through regular visits and communication.
  • Forecasting market potential within the region to inform business decisions.
  • Creating action plans to break into new markets and attract new customers.
Skills Required
  • Proven ability to influence and cultivate high-level relationships.
  • Exceptional listening skills, with the ability to understand and meet customer needs and requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of sales, marketing, and solution-selling strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and business software, with a focus on maintaining high-quality Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

The estimated salary range for this role is AU$85,000 - AU$115,000 per annum, depending on experience.
