Legal Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned legal expert to support our infrastructure projects in the water sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in front-end construction law and project delivery.

This is a strategic role that requires strong legal advisory skills, commercial acumen, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

The successful candidate will be based in Australia, with the option to relocate to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, or Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior-level legal advice to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
  • Conduct targeted research and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Manage legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead negotiations and select external counsel as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and approval processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in legal practice.
  • Strong expertise in front-end construction law, including contracts, procurement, and project delivery.
  • Experience managing legal aspects of major infrastructure projects.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and dispute resolution.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
