Job Title: In-House Legal Advisor

The In-House Legal Advisor provides expert legal guidance to stakeholders on various matters, including the interpretation and development of legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop client-focused legal advice and support to staff
  • Manage risk effectively and workload consistently with organisational values and code of conduct

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in law
  • Admission as a legal practitioner of the High Court or Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory
  • Current Practising Certificate or ability to obtain one within three months

Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment:

  • Australian citizenship
  • Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check)
  • Employee Health Declaration
  • Six months probationary period for new engagements
