Job Title: In-House Legal Expert

We are seeking an experienced In-House Legal Expert to provide expert legal advice and support to our business.

  • Provide strategic commercial law advice, including negotiation of contracts, business transactions and tender submissions
  • Manage our data protection and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Advise on competition and consumer law issues, developing effective risk management strategies
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks, providing guidance on claims, contracts and operations
  • Develop internal policies and procedures, promoting good governance and compliance
  • Deliver educational sessions to staff on regulatory compliance and legal best practices
  • Liaise with external advisors and stakeholders as required

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A qualified solicitor in Australia, with unrestricted practice
  • At least 4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in-house counsel
  • Strong commercial, data protection, competition and consumer law knowledge
