Job Title: High Salary Service Engineer

We coordinate the installation, preventative, and reactive maintenance of medical devices, including OR1 and telepresence equipment.

We collaborate with internal engineers, global technical teams, and external contractors to resolve customer issues efficiently.

We provide technical support and repair services both onsite and in-house, including diagnostics, maintenance, software updates, and remote assistance.

We ensure compliance with safety standards (AS/NZS3551) and quality policies (ISO9001).

We manage spare parts usage, documentation, and reconciliation accurately.

We prioritize and respond to customer technical inquiries promptly, and communicate clearly at each service stage.

We estimate service costs for quotations and prepare equipment properly for international repairs when needed.

We maintain accurate service records in repair databases and uphold data confidentiality and intellectual property protection.

Talents Required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in electronics, electrical engineering or biomedical engineering are essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of biomedical equipment, including operation and use of biomedical test equipment, is preferred.
  • Strong electronic skills, including understanding common circuits and component-level troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and carry out fine electronic and mechanical repairs, including complex soldering tasks.
  • Fault-finding skills in technical equipment are highly regarded.
  • Understanding of hardware including modules, power supplies, and control signal conventions.
  • Understanding of imaging acquisition, common video/audio signal types, hardware, and software modules is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of operating systems, networking, and programming objectives.
