Delivering Exceptional Medical Service

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team.

This role will be responsible for delivering outstanding service to our esteemed customers. Your technical expertise will contribute to maintaining high standards of service within the medical industry.

The Field Service Engineer will perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on designated equipment professionally and customer-focused manner. You will also ensure all repairs are attended to satisfactorily within the required timeframe.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Performing necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on designated equipment
  • Ensuring all repairs are attended to satisfactorily within the required timeframe
  • Providing technical assistance via telephone or at customer sites
  • Preparing quotations for equipment repair and evaluation for warranty repair
  • Assessing and reporting on product performance, faults, and making recommendations for improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices
  • Performing test equipment calibration and maintaining all required documentation

Requirements

  • Tertiary degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields (Recent Graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Hold QLD REL (restricted electrical licence) or eligible to get one
  • Solid technical experience in an electro-mechanical and/or electrical field
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry is ideal but not necessary
  • Understanding of servicing to Australia Standard AS3551
  • Valid and unrestricted Driver's license with access to a vehicle
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
