Job Title: Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Mass Spectrometry and a strong background in biomedical engineering.

This role involves performing field service activities, providing instrument installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, software and hardware modifications. You will be responsible for coordinating all activities related to pre, during, and post-sales requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure successful installations occur. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Roche processes as documented in policies and procedures.

About the Role
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform field service activities including instrument installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, software and hardware modifications.
  • Coordinate all activities related to pre, during, and post-sales requirements.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Manager to ensure successful installations occur.
  • Ensure compliance with all Roche processes as documented in policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Tertiary biomedical engineering or equivalent qualification with 3+ years of experience in field services engineering.
  • Experience with Lab IT and middleware systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects.
  • Availability to travel locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally as required.
