Commercial Property Leasing Role

This part-time position allows you to work flexibly, suited to your needs.

You will manage a diverse portfolio of office and retail properties.

Build relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers etc., monitor lease obligations and handle repairs.

Issue rental invoices, monitor arrears, review supplier invoices and maintain accurate financial records.

This role involves strategic thinking, problem-solving, negotiation and strong communication skills.

Experience in property management software is desirable.

A Victorian Estate Agent Licence or Representative Licence is also beneficial.

Competency in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook, is essential.

This position requires full Australian Working Rights.

The company is a boutique investment firm with a focus on commercial property investment and development.

They own a portfolio of assets predominantly located in Melbourne.

As a leasing executive, you will be working in the Paris End of Melbourne CBD.

Duties
  1. Manage a diverse portfolio of office and retail properties.
  2. Build and maintain professional relationships with existing and prospective tenants.
  3. Monitor and manage lease obligations, including tenant induction, lease option and expiry preparation.
  4. Handle repairs and maintenance for properties.
  5. Issue rental invoices and monitor rental arrears.
  6. Review and approve supplier invoices.
Requirements

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in commercial property management and/or commercial property leasing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management and organisational ability.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in property management software.
  • Victorian Estate Agent Licence or Representative Licence.
  • Experience in accounting software.
  • Competency with MS Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
