Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Principal Water Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic Civil Infrastructure team in Sydney. As a key member of our Water Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for delivering projects on-time, to a high-quality, and ensuring the ongoing collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive years of relevant consultant experience on water and wastewater infrastructure projects within a design (including design & construction) environment. You will have knowledge of water industry standards, codes, and common practices, and be inspired to provide technical direction, mentor, and train our junior members within the team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Design experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options to arrive at a preferred solution – water, recycled water, sewerage – all things Water Infrastructure
  • Providing technical direction, mentoring, and training to junior members within the team
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver projects on-time and to a high-quality
