We are seeking an experienced Principal Water Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic Water Infrastructure team at AECOM. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering projects on-time, to a high-quality, and ensuring the ongoing collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and dedicating the correct resources to each project.
- Lead technical and management works, including planning and design, project management, and mentoring junior engineers.
- Work closely with clients to provide water solutions that contribute to liveable and water-sensitive cities, reduce costs, and impact, and utilize new technology in treatment processes.
- Provide technical direction, mentor, and train junior members within the team.
- Champion new ideas, encouraging initiative and promoting innovative techniques and actions.
- Extensive years of relevant consultant experience on water and wastewater infrastructure projects within a design (including design & construction) environment.
- Design experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options to arrive at a preferred solution – water, recycled water, sewerage – all things Water Infrastructure.
- Knowledge of water industry standards, codes, and common practices.
- Ability to inspire and motivate team members to deliver high-quality work.
- Confidence in utilizing your reputation to bring business to AECOM through networking and delivering high-quality work.
