About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Principal Water Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic Water Infrastructure team at AECOM. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering projects on-time, to a high-quality, and ensuring the ongoing collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and dedicating the correct resources to each project.
  • Lead technical and management works, including planning and design, project management, and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and evaluate options to arrive at a preferred solution for water, recycled water, and sewerage projects.
  • Provide technical direction, mentor, and train junior members within the team.
  • Champion new ideas, encouraging initiative and promoting innovative techniques and actions.
Requirements
  • Extensive years of relevant consultant experience on water and wastewater infrastructure projects within a design (including design & construction) environment.
  • Design experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options to arrive at a preferred solution.
  • Knowledge of water industry standards, codes, and common practices.
  • Ability to provide technical direction, mentor, and train junior members within the team.
  • Confidence to utilize your reputation in bringing business to AECOM through networking and delivering high-quality work.
  • Champion new ideas, encouraging initiative and promoting innovative techniques and actions.
