Mobile Fleet Reliability Specialist

Our organization seeks a skilled Mechanical Reliability Engineer to oversee maintenance strategies for our mobile fleet and associated assets. Key responsibilities include developing and refining long-term maintenance plans in line with production objectives, ensuring optimal asset performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategies to improve mechanical reliability through tools like RCM, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
- Develop, maintain and refine long-term maintenance plans aligned with company goals.
- Create capital justifications and manage related projects.
- Lead or support investigations into equipment failures.
- Coach and mentor teams in best practices for mechanical reliability.
- Contribute to planning initiatives that ensure workplace safety.
About the Role:
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify challenges, implement solutions and support strategic planning.
- Strategically improve mechanical reliability, extend asset lifespan and minimize costs by continually optimizing maintenance procedures.
Requirements:
- Hold an engineering qualification or equivalent trade experience.
- Prior experience in maintenance planning, supervision or reliability engineering is highly valued.
- Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
- Familiarity with mobile fleet maintenance and CMMS systems is desirable.
- Industry experience is a plus.
