Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role is AU$72,500 - AU$88,000, based on experience.

Job Functions

This role involves providing secretarial and administrative support to a busy team, undertaking a diverse range of legal work with no two days being the same. Key functions include:

  • Preparing documents, including the use of precedents and amendments
  • Coordinating meetings and travel arrangements, proactively managing diaries
  • Liaising with clients as directed by fee earners
  • Maintaining client databases and reporting
  • Answering calls and monitoring emails
  • Managing files, including opening files and electronic filing
  • Assisting with monthly billing and reporting
  • Reconciling corporate AMEX expenses using Concur
  • Performing general administrative tasks
Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in legal secretarial roles, preferably in litigation
  • A high level of confidentiality
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications
  • An understanding of billing and financial systems, with training provided for preferred software
  • Resilience and a commitment to excellence matching our own
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Initiative and a strong desire to contribute to team success
