Job Description:

The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure the integrity and reliability of their data platforms, enabling efficient decision-making within the financial services sector.

  • Provide Level 2 support for data-related issues across multiple data platforms and environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues, including data discrepancies, missing data, and system performance issues.
  • Collaborate with Level 1 support teams to resolve routine issues and escalate complex incidents when necessary.

In this role, you will utilize PySpark for data processing and analysis, handling large datasets and ensuring scalability and performance. You will also troubleshoot performance issues related to PySpark jobs and optimize execution.

Requirements:

To be successful in this position, you must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a data support or similar role, with a strong understanding of data processing and support systems.
  • Proven experience with PySpark for data processing and analysis on large datasets.
  • A solid understanding of financial markets, including financial instruments, market data, and trading systems.
  • Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data integration tools.
