Practice Specialist Role Overview

CareSouth is seeking an experienced Practice Specialist to join the Practice Improvement and Quality team in a full time, permanent capacity.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing on-the-ground support and professional guidance and development that promotes CareSouth's Values in all aspects of support with children, young people, families, people with disability and community partners.

This role involves working alongside casework teams to promote good practice and support continuous improvement in service delivery that is in line with CareSouth values.

A typical day in this role could include:

  • Writing and/or delivering expert practice content
  • Coaching, mentoring and modelling
  • Complex case review and reporting
  • Practice plan development and implementation
  • Ensuring practitioners are skilled in delivering services that are in line with relevant legislation and standards
