The Counter Salesperson will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and operational support to ensure branch efficiency. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about providing excellent customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update customer databases to ensure accurate records.
- Handle sales and service inquiries from customers, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Make outbound calls to existing and prospective customers to build relationships and drive sales.
- Arrange dispatch of products or product information to existing clients or new contracts.
- Comply with credit and company procedures to ensure smooth operations.
- Receive and process payments for goods sold.
- Maintain a clean and organized counter sales area to provide a positive customer experience.
- Ensure same-day processing of sales orders for next-day delivery or pickup.
- Verify the accuracy of sales orders to prevent errors.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for customers.
- Ability to tackle challenges and find solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Well-presented with good communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Knowledge of ordering systems is desired, but not required.
- Experience working with databases to maintain accurate records.
