The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Consultant to join our Managed Services practice at Quorum Systems Pty. As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will play a critical role in the implementation and successful delivery of our IT solutions to clients. You will work closely with our customers to understand their business requirements and advise on suitable IT solutions that meet their needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft technologies, with at least 5 years' experience working in a similar Microsoft Managed Services environment in a hands-on and deeply technical capacity. This role is focused on tactical, operational project work for our clients, as well as mentoring and guiding our Systems Engineers and Senior Systems Engineers.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing client projects, assisting with analysis, design, post-go live support, and ongoing maintenance to support customer environments while adhering to defined SLA timeframes. You will also act as an escalation point for the Managed Services Service Desk team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement client projects and provide technical guidance to Systems Engineers and Senior Systems Engineers
  • Assist with analysis, design, post-go live support, and ongoing maintenance to support customer environments
  • Act as an escalation point for the Managed Services Service Desk team
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients on Microsoft technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions to clients

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience working in a Microsoft Managed Services environment
  • Strong background in Microsoft technologies, including Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure
  • Experience with backup technologies such as Azure Backup, StorageCraft, and Veeam
  • Expertise with various ICT Network infrastructure technologies and methodologies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
