Job Description

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team delivering exceptional services that empower individuals to live the lives they choose.

You will work closely with clients to support their goals, promote their independence, and ensure their safety and wellbeing. Your role will involve providing tailored support aligned with individual plans and goals, supporting clients with mental health needs and ageing-related challenges, and participating in team-based service delivery and reflective practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support aligned with individual plans and goals
  • Support clients with mental health needs and ageing-related challenges
  • Participate in team-based service delivery and reflective practice
  • Ensure compliance with behaviour support and safeguarding frameworks
  • Assist with medication and health-related protocols (no personal care)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service quality

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience in disability support, aged care, or mental health is desirable. You should be willing to work inactive sleepover shifts, hold a Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (or equivalent), have a valid full driver's licence, and NDIS Worker Screening Check. A First Aid Certificate and CPR are also essential.
