Job Description

The Manager of Partnerships Marketing plays a pivotal role in driving revenue, brand growth, and partner value for the Adelaide Lightning. This dynamic position combines strategic commercial thinking with hands-on marketing and PR execution.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deliver, and optimize commercial and marketing initiatives that meet or exceed contractual obligations.
  • Create engaging activations that drive measurable ROI for partners and enhance the fan experience.
  • Build strong relationships with existing partners to foster retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Prepare and present partnership performance reports, including data-driven insights on activation success and audience engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in commercial partnerships, sponsorship, marketing or communication (sports or events industry experience desirable).
  • Proven track record of managing partner relationships and delivering successful activations.
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing, sponsorship leverage, and fan engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a commercial mindset and the ability to translate ideas into execution.
