International Relations Specialist

Job Overview:

This is a fixed-term, full-time position available until 2026. We are seeking a proactive & detail-oriented individual with a strong focus on administration and event coordination.

The International Relations Specialist will be responsible for coordinating incoming international visits, onshore engagement and strategic partnership events, in collaboration with relevant team members across the Division and beyond.

The role involves supporting the preparation of a suite of engagement reports, partnership briefs, presentations and other communication materials to aid the development and delivery of the University's global engagement activities.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience in planning and managing visits and events, including an understanding of official etiquette.
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing corporate reports, strategy documents, capacity statements, and formal correspondence
  • Ability to organise and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritisation to meet deadlines
  • Experience using the Microsoft Suite to deliver high-quality business documentation, calendar coordination and correspondence for senior executives.
  • Strong relationship management skills and demonstrated experience in developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders.

The role also involves working closely with the Division of External Engagement to support the University's growth ambitions through best practice marketing, the generation of international opportunities, and the forging of deep industry connections.
