The role of the Partnerships and Events Officer is pivotal in delivering surf life saving partnerships, sponsorships, and events throughout South Australia. This position plays a vital part in activating and servicing existing sponsors and partners, developing new partnership opportunities, and planning and executing high-quality events and activations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with clubs, suppliers, contractors, and volunteers to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Coordinating event logistics including run sheets, bump-in/out schedules, setup and pack down, venue liaison, permits, catering, invitations, seating, and equipment.
  • Developing and maintaining working relationships with SLSSA sponsors and partners.
  • Liaising with partners to confirm branding, signage, and promotional material requirements.

Requirements: Experience in an events, sponsorship, partnerships, or marketing support role, strong organisational skills, excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, and a high level of computer literacy.
