About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate estimates of project costs, in accordance with technical and company standards.

  • Develop estimating preparation plans and schedules to manage key tenders within a defined timeframe.
  • Provide expert advice and technical support to ensure successful project/business outcomes and delivery.
  • Understand client requirements and develop estimating strategies to address these needs.
  • Develop first principles estimates using industry-standard tools to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop estimations as per client requirements and schedule to a high level of accuracy and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards through tender development, approval, negotiation, and final handover to the Project Delivery Team.
  • Develop strategic alliances with suppliers and subcontractors to enhance business opportunities.
  • Identify and correct non-conformances within prescribed timeframes.
About You


• The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial and/or power generation, and/or experience working with electrical estimates.

  • Provide sound decision-making to the estimating process, following established protocols.
  • Driven by a focus on results and excellence, with a high degree of autonomy and urgency.
  • Relationship builder capable of communicating at all levels.
  • Advanced knowledge of detailed engineering, planning, and scheduling.
  • Exposure to estimating software and Excel is preferred.
