As an electrical cost estimator, you will work closely with experienced teams to gain industry expertise and expand your skillset. You will be empowered to take real responsibility in your role and contribute to success.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze external contractor bids to ensure client value for money
  • Create detailed estimates and cost plans for key projects
  • Evaluate cost plans and project scopes to assess and address gaps
  • Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates
  • Optimize project costs against budget, including cost reviews, value engineering, and accurate estimates
  • Provide estimating expertise and leadership throughout the design and construction stages of projects
  • Build trust and credibility with partners across the business
  • Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication

Your Essential Qualifications

  • Increasing levels of scope and responsibility as an electrical or MEP estimator in a construction environment
  • Advanced analytical skills to investigate and interpret complex technical data
  • Excellent communicator verbally and in writing
  • Collaborative and friendly team environment
  • Dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
