About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive project estimates. This role will see you working closely with our project management and operations teams to ensure tenders are commercially viable, compliant, and tailored to client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret tender documents, drawings, and specifications
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, subcontractors, and equipment
  • Source competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures
  • Prepare and submit tender documentation and bills of quantities
  • Support the project team with variations, budget tracking, and cost analysis in Xero

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the commercial, industrial and domestic sector
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and industry standards
  • Proficient with estimating software (e.g. simPRO, Groundplan, Excel and/or preferred software)
  • High attention to detail with excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and time management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
