Due to an internal promotion, they are seeking a Payroll leader to manage their fortnightly payroll of seven hundred employees, with the assistance of two Payroll Officers.

About the Role

As the Payroll Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring payroll is completed to deadline
  • Year End reconciliations and reporting
  • Providing advice and support to stakeholders in relation to the interpretation and application of legislation, policies, and enterprise agreements
  • Governance and reporting
  • Payroll system configuration and maintenance
  • Implementation of payroll controls
  • Ongoing improvement of the payroll systems, workflows, and processes

We are seeking a candidate with:

  • Extensive experience of payroll systems
  • In-depth payroll knowledge
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • The ability to recognise payroll errors
  • A focus on continuous improvement
