About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to support our payroll processes across multiple regions, including China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Australia, and New Zealand. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, prepare essential reports, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our payroll operations.

You will partner with the ANZ People & Culture team and work closely with the APAC Payroll team to:

  • Manage payroll processing for employees in the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on Australia and New Zealand;
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of periodic payroll reports and consolidate data as needed;
    Update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists to ensure compliance;
  • Oversee and monitor superannuation and tax processes;
  • Prepare payroll month-end reports for accounting and auditing purposes;
    Provide necessary data and documentation during audit periods;
  • Handle ad hoc reports and special projects as required.
Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Payroll and Benefits Administration, particularly with a strong working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand payroll requirements;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Google Forms; Experience with Dayforce is a bonus;
  • Strong communication skills; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage, but not essential;
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues effectively;
  • Ability to escalate issues when necessary, maintaining proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven work habits;
  • Team-oriented with a strong focus on data integrity and accuracy;
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Accountancy, or a related field is preferred.
