The Unit We Work InThe Access Services & Program Preparation unit is responsible for subtitling, captioning, and audio description for our programming. The role of an English Subtitle Editor is to provide access to our content by preparing English-language subtitles for translation and digital streaming.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and finalise subtitles to ensure our content is accessible.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency of subtitle editing.
- Contribute to review and documentation of subtitle editing standards.
- Meet administrative requirements.
We are looking for someone with strong writing and research skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of language uses and functions. Experience in utilising standard computer software and subtitling software is advantageous.
