To support this growth, we seek a motivated, driven, and ambitious Key Account Manager to join our successful team, focusing on Pharmacy at a national level.

The Role:

As our newly appointed Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for actively managing sales territories, key customer relationships, and activities, supporting marketing efforts, identifying customer trends and opportunities, and achieving/exceeding territory sales targets.

The role primarily focuses on national banner groups and OTC across Australia, supporting the launch and sales of our latest product.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Meet/exceed sales and growth targets, delivering budgeted revenue.
  • Engage with national buying groups and pharmacies to provide disease and product education/awareness.
  • Attend industry conferences to expand knowledge and communicate findings to the team.
  • Develop strategic territory action plans and strategies for assigned products, revised quarterly.
  • Identify and engage with KOLs to achieve advocacy as required.
  • Follow through on customer commitments and requests promptly.
  • Meet or exceed agreed reach and frequency targets with key HCPs.
  • Monitor key financial areas, including recording monthly sales and expenditure.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of therapy areas to inform reasonable strategies and support future activities.
  • Utilize strong technical knowledge and sales skills to build confidence in our brand.
  • Contribute to strong cross-functional relationships with Finance, Customer Service, Regulatory, Quality, Medical, and Distribution to support set objectives.

Salary: We offer a competitive base salary of $95,000 per annum, plus a generous commission structure, providing opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical sales, particularly in OTC, pharmacy banner groups, and major chain accounts.
  • Tertiary qualification in science, health, or business fields.
  • Completion of Medicines Australia Continuing Education Program.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
  • A proven record in business planning with demonstrable sales success.
  • Highly organized with an ability to self-motivate and work autonomously.
  • Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.
