Recoveries Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to play a vital role in managing recoveries matters within a portfolio of claims. This is a full-time position based in Melbourne, where you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end management of recoveries, including effective communication with all stakeholders, negotiation of claim recoveries, and investigation of third parties' whereabouts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of claims from initiation to resolution, ensuring timely recovery of monies while maximising potential.
  • Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve disputes and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Investigate third parties' whereabouts to facilitate recovery of claims.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience in claims or similar roles, preferably in commercial property and liability claims management.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Knowledge of legal and court processes, with intermediate PC skills.
