Remuneration Strategist
A forward-thinking organization is seeking a seasoned Remuneration Strategist to drive the development and implementation of innovative remuneration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, performance management, and benefits administration.
About the Opportunity
This critical leadership role owns the strategy and delivery of our remuneration, reward, and performance function. If you enjoy working in a strategic environment that interfaces with stakeholders, influences key decisions, and brings vision to life, this could be for you.
What You'll Deliver
- Designing and implementing strategies for core people-related processes, including performance reviews, remuneration, recognition, global mobility, immigration, and benefits.
- Working closely with teams across People & Culture to deliver processes and advocating for service transitions where relevant.
- Leading the development of employee benefits and discounts offers, extending to the wider workforce and improving choice and accessibility.
- Identifying, designing, and implementing continual improvements to policies, processes, and practices.
- Establishing service level agreements with internal stakeholders to ensure a structured approach to sourcing inputs for performance and remuneration activities.
- Embedding monitoring and control mechanisms to enable a consistent approach to responsibilities, decision-making, and data integrity.
- Managing financial aspects of the remuneration, performance, and benefits portfolio, including purchasing, budgeting, and expenditure.
- Fostering a culture that focuses on safety, wellbeing, and customer-centricity.
- Solving problems and creating new commercial value.
- Developing solutions that address Business Unit needs and ensuring they are fit for purpose.
You'll Also Have:
- 10+ years of experience in human resources or people and culture roles, with exposure to performance, recognition, benefits, and remuneration.
- Significant experience in formal written communications, such as Board papers and Shareholder submissions.
- Experience in delivering People & Culture activities, including cyclical performance and talent, employee recognition, benefits, and remuneration.
- A strong leader with ability to influence and guide a team through change.
- A deep understanding of themes and trends in the remuneration sector across enterprise organisations.

You have a strong passion for aligning remuneration and performance strategy with organisational success. You excel at influencing with data and understanding people and challenges, enabling pragmatic and valuable solutions.
You'll Also Need:
- Experience with board writing.
- The ability to partner with executive leadership and influence data-driven remuneration decisions.
- A strong ability to take a vision into a strategy.
