This is an exciting opportunity for a result-driven individual who wants to make a real difference in someone's life. As a mentor, you will work with a diverse range of people and employer networks to achieve outcomes through ongoing coaching and support programs.

You will partner with job seekers to plan, secure, and maintain sustainable employment through sourcing and developing enduring employer relationships that generate employment opportunities.

The mentor will conduct initial customer assessments, create detailed action plans, and facilitate group learning activities. You will be passionate about enhancing customer experiences and motivated to succeed with a proven track record in meeting KPIs, building relationships, and displaying a resilient attitude.

Experience and background in sales, administration, retail, call centre, or customer service will be highly advantageous for this role.

If you have a genuine interest in shaping lives and creating employment opportunities for jobseekers, then we are looking for you to join our team.

As part of this role, you will be required to travel within your region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skill-based training sessions to build capacity for employment
  • Support job seekers to achieve their goals through employment outcomes
  • Deliver effective employment solutions to local businesses
  • Maintain thorough case notes and administration skills
  • Local knowledge of the labour market and experience in placing clients into local employment opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills in promoting job seekers to local employers and seeking future employment opportunities
  • Satisfactory background checks including Police Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Knowledge of and commitment to child safe standards and mandatory reporting requirements
  • Experience working with in the disability service sector highly regarded
  • Current driver's licence (minimum P2)
  • Evidence of Covid-19 Vaccination including booster
