About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Director to lead our Dementia Care Services, overseeing the development and delivery of high-quality programs for individuals living with dementia.

Job Description

The Executive Director will be responsible for ensuring that our services meet the needs of clients, families, and carers, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and best practice. This role requires excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, as well as experience in managing teams and developing partnerships.

This is a fixed-term full-time position, providing parental leave cover until December 2025. The successful candidate will work from a designated office location and travel intra and interstate for meetings and stakeholder engagement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide vision and strategic direction for Dementia Care Services, aligning with HammondCare's mission and goals.
  • Establish and maintain clinical supervision, governance, and behavior management systems, ensuring a national team approach with local and borderless service delivery ethos.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of administrative, financial, risk, and quality reporting goals for the DSA program.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including State Government, aged care sector, and acute care sector leadership teams, to ensure smooth partnerships and problem-solving.
  • Support Team Leaders in managing stakeholder engagement at the service level through local management in aged care and hospital settings.
  • Collaborate with the National Program Manager, Team Leaders, and Clinical Lead to develop strategic plans for each State and contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or Allied Health or a related field.
  • Experience in a senior leadership position, preferably in a multi-disciplinary or multi-site environment.
  • Strong budgeting and systems thinking skills, with experience in IT systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, particularly between industry and government sectors.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience, along with excellent benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and access to cutting-edge resources and technologies.

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
