Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Director of Innovation and Process Excellence to join our Financial Change and Integration Branch. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving transformative change through fostering behavioural shifts towards continuous improvement, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving business innovation within DFG.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing strategic direction and leadership to achieve the DFG Innovation and Improvement program objectives;
  • Designing and implementing DFG's innovation framework, governance structures, and facilitating the systematic generation of ideas;
  • Leading the execution of innovation strategies from ideation to implementation;
  • Managing and leading a team, including providing clear communication, setting performance standards, and guiding and developing people;
  • Buidling strong relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in Executive-level leadership roles supporting complex change agendas;
  • Exemplary skills in communicating with influence, including effective facilitation of large forums;
  • First-rate stakeholder and relationship skills, including building productive working relationships with people at all levels of an organisation;
  • Excellent strategic thinking and planning skills, including researching, developing, and evaluating programs of work.

Estimated Salary

$134,567 - $161,521 per annum, plus up to 15.4% Superannuation.
