The Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maximising customer experience, operational efficiency and cost controls across the business.

This involves developing and executing commercial strategies while tracking spending against allocated budgets and assisting with expenditure forecasting.

You will also facilitate internal and external stakeholder groups in resolving issues of urgent importance that potentially impact the business.

Key responsibilities include working with stakeholders to ensure contract negotiations meet their needs, managing sourcing exercises and negotiations for contracts and tenders to achieve the best possible commercial outcome.

You will also be responsible for ensuring continuous improvement in the use of data to enhance targeted processes, customer experience and employee efficiency.

What You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated best practice strategic procurement experience, including centralisation of commercial strategies and achievement of significant cost savings within the insurance sector or similar services industries.
  • An exceptional understanding of financial levers and high degree of commercial acumen.
  • Claims and/or significant Insurance Industry experience preferred.
  • A track record of success driving performance through accountability for results and a performance culture.
  • Significant knowledge of service delivery through traditional Customer Service channels as well as Digital and Omni Channel strategies.
