Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive commercial professional to provide strategic support to our Business Units.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and negotiate new commercial arrangements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to create subcontracts that flow down prime contract requirements.
  • Review and draft commercial documents such as contract amendments, NDAs, R&D and innovation contracts, and inter company agreements.
  • Support project teams with contract execution, issue resolution, and contract close-out at the end of contract performance.
  • Promote a culture of compliance, risk awareness, and proactive commercial management.
  • Facilitate the commercial review and approval process, escalating to the appropriate delegate as required.
  • Advise on approval and execution procedures in line with our delegation of authority framework.
  • Ensure document control by managing records and uploading documents to our Contract Management System.
About You

You are a commercially astute professional with strong contract negotiation and risk management skills. You bring a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and excel in stakeholder engagement across all levels.

Qualifications
  • A degree in a commercial field, such as business, accounting, or law.
  • Strong experience gained in managing analysing, developing and negotiating contracts.
  • Relevant experience working in a commercial contracting environment, ideally with experience in both the pre- and post-contract award stages.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across multiple stakeholders.
