The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on Area Manager – Commercial Cleaning & Facilities to lead our growing Brendale (North Brisbane) team. You will oversee field technicians, cleaning crews, and schedulers, ensuring all services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for leaders with experience as an Area Manager, Operations Manager, Facilities Manager, Cleaning Services Manager, HVAC Manager, or Maintenance Manager. If you've managed teams in commercial cleaning, facilities, HVAC, or trade services, this is your chance to step into a rewarding leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will:

  • Lead and motivate a team of commercial cleaning staff and schedulers
  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring jobs are delivered safely and efficiently
  • Maintain WHS compliance across multiple sites and teams
  • Manage KPIs, budgets, and team performance to achieve business targets
  • Build strong client relationships and resolve escalations effectively
  • Balance office coordination with hands-on field supervision and coaching

What We're Looking For

  • Leadership experience as an Area Manager, Operations Manager, or Commercial Cleaning / Facilities Manager
  • Proven ability to inspire and manage both field-based and office staff
  • Strong safety-first mindset with knowledge of WHS standards
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office + CRM/service systems)
  • Trade background or technical knowledge in HVAC, cleaning, or facilities management is highly regarded
