Scout Talent is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team in Brisbane, QLD.

This role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for driving new business through maintaining and expanding relationships with specialists in hospital environments, particularly Gastroenterologists and Gynaecologists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage senior-level customer contacts and maintain positive working relationships
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities through networking and research
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials and promotional campaigns
  • Monitor forecasts and plans to ensure business KPIs are met
  • Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Develop and manage the commercial budget
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of company services
  • Ensure compliance with privacy legislation and company policies
  • Regularly update the Director/CEO with relevant information

About You

To qualify, you will need extensive experience in business development within the pathology sector and a strong background in building and maintaining relationships with specialists in hospital settings, particularly in Brisbane and Queensland. A minimum of two years of experience in the healthcare industry with a strong focus on pathology will also be essential.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated business development experience within the pathology sector
  • Strong understanding of the specialist pathology environment and target audience
  • Existing and current network of contacts within the pathology sector
  • Understanding of laboratory and pathology processes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
